Production

Mango is important in the following countries: India, China, Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia, and Brazil.

Here, the production is concentrated in the states of Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais.

The harvest of mango happens between September and January, and most between October and November.

Appearance

It is easy to recognize mango in the grocery stores, supermarkets, or street market huts, as it is very colorful! Depending on the ripeness and species (Tommy Atkins, Palmer, Keitt, Haden, oxheart, Carlota, sword, Van Dick, Rose, Bourbon, and Coquinho), mango may present the following colors:

  •   yellow
  •   orange
  •   red

The mango pulp is sweet and juicy, ideal to eat in natura or in other ways.

Manufacturing Processes of the mango pulp

Classification/ Brushing

Here at this mango pulp manufacturer, the fruit is judiciously selected by our professionals and then, it goes through a cleaning process to eliminate dirt using brushes, and also receiving water jets.

Sorting

This second step is the manual selection that the mango goes through to remove the ones out of the ripeness standard. We are then assuring that only the best ones are delivered to you.

Processing

Villa Puree performs this step in a completely automatized way, in a closed circuit that contains the pulping, squeezing, sieving, waste disposal. We use a technology so that the safety is even greater in the fruit sorting and separation processes.

Pasteurization

A fundamental step during the manufacturing of the mango pulp. With a fine adjustment of temperature and time, the microbiological risks are eliminated with no alteration of the organoleptic features, then the plum pulp will be delivered to you with an unquestionable flavor, as quality is united to safety

Aseptic packaging

Our mango pulp is packed in automatized headstocks. Our aseptic bags have triple protection barrier, accommodated in 200-liter drums, with no environment contact to assure not only quality but also a longer shelf life.
