How is the guava pulp produced? Get to know our processes

One of the healthy and practical ways to ingest this fruit is with the guava pulp. But, how do I know if I am buying a guava pulp that contains the essential of the fruit?

Villa Puree, manufacturer of guava pulp and other fruits, uses a five-step method to take to the dairy, ice cream, ingredients, juices, chocolate, grocery stores, industrial kitchens, bakery, and confectionery industries, the essential of the guava.

Classification/Brushing

Here at this guava pulp manufacturer, the fruit is judiciously selected by our professionals and then, it goes through a cleaning process to eliminate dirt using brushes, and also receiving water jets.

Sorting

This second step is the manual selection that the guava goes through to remove the ones out of the ripeness standard. We are then assuring that only the best ones are delivered to production.

Processing

Villa Puree performs this step in a completely automatized way, in a closed circuit that contains the pulping, squeezing, and sieving.

Pasteurization

A fundamental step during the manufacturing of the guava pulp. With a fine adjustment of temperature and time, the microbiological risks are eliminated with no alteration of the organoleptic features, then the plum pulp will be delivered to you with an unquestionable flavor, as quality is united to safety

Aseptic packaging

Our products are packed in automatized headstocks. Our aseptic bags have triple protection barrier, accommodated in 200-liter drums, with no environment contact to assure not only quality but also a longer shelf life.

Production

Easily adapted, the guava tree may reach up to eight meters of height. Its harvest is from January to April, with the highest intensity in February. Each plan may bear up to 60 kilograms of guava per year.
